You have to relog for the changes to take effect. The names displayed are the middle names. To find out the full name, you can either PM the person or wait till they're offline then send them a test message. It will display their full name.

This is a brand new bug that affects a few areas. They are working on it, and I imagine it's getting top priority. I've been on NI where the map is not working and it's extremely inconvenient. Sort of like trying to carry on normal life when the power's out.

You should be happy... normally what happens is that you get stuck floating in space and have to wait hours/days for Mindark to move you to a station. This bug was introduced last update, though we usually see revival bugs after each update, this one is the worst.
