Question: why have mentor gifts at all?

wtf is up with the mentor gift system?!?!
I had 6 disciples graduate now and guess what! 6 Hunter Face Guards (F) Mentor Edition, wth should I do with SIX crappy faces???
And this is not just me, another friend have 2 or 3 hunter gloves same for all her disciple, another soc mate got 5 or 6 hunter gloves same story there so this is NOT just me pissed off I'm sure it's alot of people out there thats just sick of this crap!

I'm not complaining about the item in itself just that you get 6 in a row of the same fucking item, give me settler ME or whatever else just not the same crap over and over!
And for what reason is the mentor gift even in the system if not to motivate and help people mentor people to their best ability, but when you get same thing over and over wtf should you keep doing it for?!

And dont try and ignore me as I WONT give up on this crap!

1. Why even have mentor gifts?
2. Why the fuck do some or most people get same item over and over?
3. Or have you just given up on the mentor system in order to get FB junkies valuable and different gifts instead??

I know you only want MA to answer, but my understanding is that the reward is based on your mentor skill, so you are likely to get the same rewards until your skill improves.

Actually it's both true, there's a 'basket' linked with certain ME gifts. As you progress (more mentor skills) you can get gifts from another 'basket'. It was said somewhere by MindArk iirc (i hope that's reason enough to post altho Jenny says not to post unless MindArk, however i believe the policy is the same as in support cases: certain tone won't be accepted and thus will be left unanswered?).

Your question 'why have M.E. gifts at all then?' is legit although perhaps for a different reason than you state. I'd love a cool M.E. gun/fap/... because i can't seem to loot any items worth mentioning in the last years, but then maybe MindArk is making it impossible to get those thru the M.E. system also? Some ppl have lots of skills, also in mentoring, but might not be very good mentors (i mean they might be just farming disciples for skills which might impact badly on EU, one person generating more unhappy disciples than happy ones?) hence if there were no M.E. gifts worth the farming, the possible negative impact is avoided. It's a tough one, how do you give ppl a chance for fun items as a sort of reward for community services without the potential abuse of such reward system?

Sorry but you cant know this for sure so don't try and answer something you cant as you don't have insight into the system. And my "tone" is showing how pissed off I am, they should answer simple questions from pissed off people too

And I read that post by Kim too (I think it was Kim) but that don't explain this crap, as I know for a fact there is more items then hunter ME face guards for a mentor with no previous disciples graduated

You seem to think I'm asking for cool/fun/awesome ME things when I'm not.

I simply asked wth do we get same item over and over.
If it were settler ME with 10 more durability on showing it as a ME item, I wouldn't be this pissed off even tho the item could be considered useless.
Or that old EP-17 ME I bought years ago for cool green laser compared to red like all the others had back then, but still a useless item.

I'm not asking for good or fun items I'm just pissed off that you get same crap over and over and over and over and over and over...............................
