noob question about amps

hey all im new to entropia and call on you guys for some help.

so far im doing ok, have a gun and a way to heal and found a grinding spot. i am starting to think i need to do more damage to conserve bullets and want to buy an amp but not sure which one or what the stats actually mean.

im using the sollomate opalo from the trade terminal. what is a good gun for me to get next, also how much damage will an omegaton a101 add to my gunn now?

excuse my noobishness and thanks for any help, also should i get other helpful tools/addons/websites to give me a better start in entropia?

a101 is definitley a must buy. the 101 takes no additional ammo, will add 3 penetration. The 101 will not lose value more likely gain vlue, all though its a possibility. After you max the opallo you can use on M1 till ya get ready for limited amps and invest in the a106. Switch to pistol around the M2 level and you can use a101 on any laser gun carbine or pistol. Im level 39 pistol and still use solomate sga and a101 daily.
