Help: Assistance/speculation required!

hi guys, recently got my account back (old thread of account locked) if you want to know how i done it contact me, but in any case this isnt the reason for the thread.

when i jumped back on, had a look about and all the other stuff in awe of the shiney vehicals and such. went out hunting, looked for my fave animal to hunt - exarosaurs (old alpha to stalker) which i could usualy find on a land mass player owned, which is now no longer spawning exarosaurs. so i started hunting corns and to my suprise i got a good return out of them, using my breer m4a eaither breaking even (20 ped runs) spent about 200ped and got around 250 - 290 ped back in oils, hides, armor parts, guns and so on. to much use the gun natrualy broke as its limited. so i went on the 'hunt' for a new one. auctions checked for the next 2 days, found no breer m4a, NOTE: i am currently skilling aswell, the m4a was the only gun i could find that now shows my skilling as not anymore. so i got an isis LR32 (L) laser carbine. my laser damage was showing as not yet but my laser sniper said yes to the skill, now this is what im taking from it as iv had no one to teach me or anything since i first started PE back in the day where animals gave out ped and pec! saying that iv been on and off for a while aswell. anyway my point is -

when i hunted with the breer m4a i got a good return and now that i have my isis LR32 im getting a noticably less return on everything, hunting the same thing with the same amount of rounds (i do know the isis LR32 uses more) but all in all, im getting alot less. now iv went off and done some iron challenges, argos more, just to mix it up and give the corns a break as i know with the game alot is taken into account. so went off and game a same amount return. i know this all cant be down to the gun, and im proberbly stuck in a rut like most of us do get into, or maybe my high scoring while getting back in the game has triggered MA to go, "oh an inactive account becoming active, lets try keep him in the game by giving him a 120% return on most his hunts" and now that period is over with.

any advise you guys can give me? while ivbeen hunting iv made sure i went out of the way to make sure no lowbies have been kicking about, iv also looked at a thread about what animals to hunt with the skills i have and tryed them with the same results.

Hi Entity, always good to hear of older players returning

It can be frustrating not being able to find something you want in auction, especially when it's crafted.

One thing you could try though, would be to take a look at Entropia Tracker, and see who is crafting those items lately.

Then look them up on the Player Register ingame, add them to your friends list, and ask them when you see them online if they have any to sell, or plan crafting again soon .. or perhaps if they have a shop that they sell through.

Breer M4A's used to be fairly common, but perhaps with current Kanerium prices, they're not being crafted so often or something.

So you are not yet in SIB for damage - thats gonna hurt as you are not getting full damage but you are paying the same cost per click in ammo and decay. So your overall return will suffer. Really worth it to try and go for weapons maxed in both hit and damage - ie skill bonus = not any more.

hey guys, thanks for the info and the pm's, iv been kicking about looking for a gun... something montgomery and cant find one, only adapted ones. currently using an m3a with the skills saying not any more and getting some ok skilling going on with it. just struggling on what to hunt now! :P i do have it amped so i can go kill some slightly bigger things than corns, your advise was all good guys, thanks!
