The NBK Legion, Army, Squadron, Elite, and Natural Born Killers are combat centric but have crafters and miners of all skill levels scattered throughout their ranks. These societies function as a "ladder" which people enter based upon their avatar's total skills. Here they advance in rank as their skills increase and eventually they graduate to the next NBK Society.
The NBK Miners, NBK Elite Miners, and NBK Optium, The NBK Miners/Elite Miners obviously are focused on mining. The NBK Opium is a society for player currently on a break or haven't got alot of time to play.

There is no "NBK Crafters," but crafters tend to join in to the combat or mining oriented societies for trading purposes, depending on which type of materials they use the most as hunters and miners can sell to crafters at pretty good rates. There used to be an NBK Entrepreneurs too, but that changed to Otium many months ago as they wanted the entire group to focus on being entrepreneurs, not just a handful of shop owners.
