Hi I've been playing the game off and on over the years but never really got into it because my system graphics rubberband while playing. It's like there is a slight pause when my guy is running around. I've tried all different graphics settings, even safe mode but it still there. My connection is 50 down/10 up with comcast. Here are my system specs, any suggestions?
Windows 7 Ultimate Processor AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+, 3013 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s) Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB Name NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 Adapter RAM 768.00 MB (805,306,368 bytes) Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\nvlddmkm.sys (8.17.12.9610, 13.00 MB (13,626,688 bytes), 4/7/2012 9:47 PM) |

I'm no tech expert but it doesn't sound like a graphics issue, more like a latency thing.
Try changing your Connection Speed (Client Loader > Tools button > Options tab) down to the minimum (56kbps), and see if that makes any difference at all. |

Rubber banding is to do with the client and the server arguing a bit about where you are, not about the settings of your graphics.
As the other two have said, the way to fix that is to adjust your "connection speed" settings on the Client Loader... If you 50/10 is in Mbps then you have a very nice speed connection, so perhaps you don't need to drop it all the way down to the 56kbps link that Serica suggests (although that should sort you out but definitely play with intermediate speeds to see where your problem goes away and then maybe pick one speed category below that. For me, things even out and run pretty smoothly at 256. |

i had a problem like this before
i got it sorted after i closed down any network programs i wasnt using, uninstall or simply close it down in task manager example i use a usb most times now for broadband, i was using a wireless card and had a program to control it, the program for the wireless card seemed to conflict with the usb so i disabled the software and now, runs real smooth |
