.... you need to understand before you start that this game is NOT like World of WarCraft.

You do not have "PVP Servers" dedicated to constant world-wide PVP.

There are plenty of players online all the time in Entropia, but I think it would be fair to say that the large majority of these players are not PVP-players. If you really want PVP and you're new, your best bet is probably to go to Cyrene to start with, and learn the game from there.

If you wade into what we all know and love as PVP in the established zones on Calypso, you are going to get your patootie handed to you 10 times out of 10, because there are no "level zones", so someone with L100 in a rifle can happily be in the same place as you with L3 in rifle.

That is not a fight you are ever going to win.

Elite and Uber PVP-gear is very, very expensive in Entropia as well, and the Evade and Dodge skills you need to be able to mitigate the equipment costs are not cheap either.

So my serious recommendation for an introduction to it on this platform is: go to Cyrene. I doubt anywhere else will be very much fun to start with.
