PVP/PVE gameplay looks a bit bland?

PVP is really important to me, that is why Im going to start with Cyrene when I start playing this game. Is everyone set to an equal level on that planet? Can't you still find pretty good gear there? Since the best equipment is so rare I would assume there is really good armor sets/ weapons that many pvp people have on Calypso. Hope they don't go for more then 300 or 500$ but I could probably find them somewhere once Im good enough.

Im not sure about PVP but the PVE is basically you standing there, no moving at all shooting at some creature, aren't there any humanoids to fight? It would make the game more exciting if you encounter an NPC who actually hides behind cover and shoots you.

go here and read, read, and then read some more. Study it inside and out. Some info there is outdated, but much is not.

... Cyrene PVP is more like Guild Wars PVP than anything else.

You get set equipment options, and the playing field is levelled to make it far more a test of skills and tactics.

But that arena is not "out in the wild", it's more of an Arena battle.
You will only get uber armour loot drops out in the wild.

So you can't use the uber equipment you find in the wild in pvp? What is the benefit to doing pvp on Cyrene anyway? Do you get peds for playing well?

You can't use non-hub equipment inside the hub. It's designed to be a level playing field.
I believe there us a ped pay off based on how well you do and which "arena" you are fighting in.
