Small introduction, I've been playing this game like 3 years ago like 1 week now than a week later with big intervals, have encounter many great people who offered me a weapon or little things like that for some fun.
I've lost the accounts of course, I feel bad for that wasting other people money. Anyway I'm here to ask some little things, what would be better to start off? Hunting or Mining? I'm thinking of wasting like 10 bucks a week. What is more profitable later on? My objective is to play and my loot to be enough to buy my repairs/upgrades/etc... And maybe later get some profit over months like some extra bucks you know what I'm talking, it's what everyone wants from this game when they start xD I would like someone to give me a good TP RUN for beginners. I want a little introduction just to start off, I learn fast, I still remember some things that people told me about the prices and things like that, I red about a tutorial for beginners that time in here but I can't find it anymore ![]() That's all I guess

Alice's Guide remains the most useful introduction to the game.

Welcome back to Entropia!
You clearly stated your budget which is a good thing. I would suggest with your plans you buy Calypso Land Deeds (CLD). This will give you a weekly turn over. They are 1200-1300 PED each these days. Mining is the most secure way to spend your PEDs as you gain on the Mark Up (MU) which means market value. (not really awake yet) Regards, Roni

Hello there!
As a fellow new player I must say that the only sure ways for a new player to earn a few PEDs are trading and sweating. The rewards for mining and hunting were rebalanced over the last couple years and even many veterans find it hard to cover their costs anymore. You might get lucky, but it is more likely you'll lose more than 10 bucks a month if you intend to play very actively. There are ways to save money (Alice's guide is a good place to start), but without trading / sweating your funds will most likely be constantly drained. It's still fun, just set a limit on how much money you're willing to lose each month and stick with it. Mining with a rookie finder for instance won't cost you very much.

With the right knowledge you can be profitable while mining too. Crafting also but that's a lot harder and require heavy investments. Hunting I've come to see as a lost cause because it's pure luck
Oh and feel free to add me ingame for a chat

Hunting I've found to at least cover costs, even made a tiny profit with the right knowledge. Hunting loot drops, as far as I've seen with 'newbie' mobs, are much more predictable than mining, and it is possible to use a very eco weapon / carefully choose mobs with decent markup drops. With mining, anywhere can suck anytime. |
