Question: Playing without deposit

Hello. Today i registered on calypso planet and played about half hour (now i need to download calypsus gateway). So I want to ask if there is chance to start playing and start getting peds without deposit nowadays?

As always the key to play without depo is to sweat and work.
Cruise the forums and find ppl that needs jobs done. Other then that try Neas for sweat if U are on caly .

There is nothing for free here as before but if U work hard U might find ourself in a good position even without depo.

Yep there are lots of mentors out there looking for people who will do odd jobs for them. I would look into the mother ships and see if they need some one to sell tickets for them.

I did my first year here without one depo. It wasn't easy but it was an excellent way to get to know how this game works.. Later I tried it again and went a year and a half. Broke down the second time so I could participate in Cyrenes release.

I know people who have sweated their way to owning a quad and travelling the universe, so it is possible.

However, the game is way more fun if you deposit, even if only a little. $10 goes a long way when you are new if spent wisely.

Well it sucks badly to play without depo. Since now sweat is only ~ 2ped/1000 & to sweat 1000 would take like 1.5 hour. And if you want to hunt/mine a little bit, you would need like 100 PED.

The game is based on a real cash economy, so just like in the real world, it's difficult to begin without any cash reserve. If you don't want to deposit the minute you download the game, I recommend doing some exploring on foot, checking out the different game features. If you decide you want to give the game a go, deposit $20. Then get yourself a good mentor. If you do it right, you can continue to play on those peds for quite a while. You might decide to make regular monthly deposits or try to be self-sustaining via trading or other ways of making peds. Sweat for skills, not for peds... no one gets rich by sweating. Sweating for 1 hour will earn you about 6 cents, or enough peds to hunt 15 punies. You can deposit $20 and hunt 5000 punies before needing to sell off your loot and continue the cycle again.

It is possible if you are lucky this week on my ped card +120 ped from hunting and TT some stuff....What I hunt? Vixen girls (vixen android gear sell for @ 4500% MU) Mulholland Boys (dreams sell for 1000%MU), mining the new item speed metal has 2500%MU

Although some people have some valid reservations about some of the offers, it is also possible to collect a few free PEDs if you are willing to use the SOMETRICS offers as mentioned on the client loader screen as well.

But as others have said: usually your free activity is

- collecting sweat
- finding fruit and stones
- dying
- travelling to teleporters by foot
