Question: Does the Tier Upgrader profession affect L items tiering speed?

I have a few very successful hunters in my society that use Sights + Scope setups for power-leveling, and they vouch there is no noticeable tiering speed increase with skillgain-increase. So the two are not connected.

It thus stands to reason that, if anything, the Tier Upgrader profession should be the one influencing tier upgrade speed on Limited items.

Personally, i don't have much experience with hunting, but i did notice some slight improvements in the speed at which i gain tiers on L tt-rifles such as the Kiwio MKII and the Cheap A$$ rifle, compared to when i started off a couple of months ago.

What is your personal experience regarding tier-upgrade speed of L items?

I think tiering speed is so random that it's impossible to test such things without a great deal of data collection... certainly you will not be able to notice a "slight improvement".

But other than that, it's possible that Tier Upgrader affects tiering speed of L items.

It is said that tier speed is related to decay.
I can't tell you if this is true; but this would mean that a high decaying weapon (with same tier rates) would increase faster then a low decaying item.

maybe unrelated but something strange I've noticed is that finders tier up faster if you amp them. I tend to go tt finder mining on FOMA from time to time; and if I amp; I have it upgrade ready before my amp breaks (lvl5-8 amp).

Why should a profession only related to UL items, only gained from tiering up UL items, have any influence on (L) tier speed?

After-all both Limited and Unlimited items display the same arcane and seemingly arbitrary tiering numbers :P
