    Insane mining log

That's right, I am jumping on the band-wagon. I am creating a mining log!

    -How long will it last?
-Until I decide I can't afford to continue, get bored or in any other way decide it's time to stop.

    -LOL why?
    -You'll see.

    -What?
-It's unique, I think. It's probably been done before, but I haven't seen a log like it. Granted, I have only been active about a week, since being afk for a few years.

    -What are you on about?
    -You'll see.

Stay tuned! First update will come in an hour or two.

    Grand total:

    Incomes
    Total TT: 929.75 PED

    Spendings
    Bombs: 3500
    Decay: 52.64 PED
    Total: 3552.64 PED

    # Globals: 2

    TT Result: -2622.89 PED
    TT Return: 26.17 %

Notes: I deny the existence of probes. Market value doesn't enter into this log. I will try to not as much as look at a mob while doing this, as well as not crafting anything or in any way perform some action which could screw with the TT return %.

    Run #1

    Incomes:
    Belkar 101.44
    Caldorite 53.04
    Gazzurdite 35.50
    Iolite 12.00
    Gold 2.00
    Total: 203.98 PED

    Spendings:
Bombs (I deny the existence of probes) 1000
    Decay 19.76
    Total: 1019.76 PED

    Short summary:

    TT return: 20 %

    Of note:
Finder went from T3.1 to T3.4. 254 skill gains. Had one global ~70 PED belk. Found 34 Bombardo - sadly this treasure wasn't enough to cover the 800 PED loss.

Would be interesting to have some more information on your system.

    1. Just verify that you are using no amps, that the 1000ped is purely probes from the tt at tt price?

    2. What location are you mining? (approximate is good enough, "amethera," "Eudoria," "FOMA," "HELL,", etc...

    3. How far do you go between drops, do you measure the difference in cords, or use a counting/timer type system?

    4. What finder are you using?

    5. What is your current Profession levels for the finder you are using?

Thanks for the info, I am curious to see how you do.

No amps, just bombs (20 imaginary probes). This is being done on Calypso, in the same area and there's no tax. Well while walking and using auto-tool, it makes about 7 m from one bombs to another. First run used F-106, second one F-101 (too many crap ores with F-106..)

    Hope that helps.

Oh and one more run like this and I'll need to change something.

    That explains your return rate.

So what are you doing? Script/Mechanical button presser and go to sleep? Auto-tool wont work because once a claim is found it stops dropping.

And then you dig it up and continue. It takes over two hours to drop 1000 bombs if you do it semi-non stop, I am not fool enough to let claims expire by being afk. All my very poor finds would disappear after an hour.

So you are trying to prove that dropping bombs every 7m is unprofitable?
I am sorry I really don't understand the point of what you are trying to do.

Why are you choosing to drop on auto instead of every ~110meters like the tools you are using suggest?

    thanks for the info,
