Here's a link to a post about wave events. The ones I think he's talking about are all around the PA Shinki Event PA area. Although they are from young to doms in that area.
I did my shinki iron challenge at that PA wave event place. The wave event is every 20 minutes as opposed to the others that are every 30 minutes. There are 195 mobs in those 5 waves. In between waves, you can run around the surrounding area and there's a ton of fast respawning mobs, you will not run out of mobs and you don't have to run far to kill them, then you go back and do another wave. I got a bunch of items off those event mobs, granted, not high markup, but they helped pay for getting it done. I couldn't tell you how much I spent, I really didn't care, but it didn't seem like a lot.
Exploring EU since 200412
well, even casinos have certain rules ( which differ by the countries ),
but the lowest payout ( for example, on a slot machine, which invloves no skill ), is at least 65%, and max 85%.
now, since MA is not even pretending to be a casino ( even if it surely feels like one ), where are the odds? why dosent anyone at MA publish the odds for winning/losing?
If you will check "weapon compare" on entropedia you will realize that your totally wrong.
There are a lot of better alternatives with higher damage/pec and much higher killspeed. Donīt know your skills though... and a good amp will be needed ofc....
Your post doesnīt even make sense because when you speak of "damage per pec and the weapon detoriration, ammo wasted per shot" you prove that you dont understand what damage/pec really means as weapon decay and ammo burn is included in damage/pec. What else do you think does damage/pec mean?
But not that I care... You asked a question and I gave an answer. If you think Iīm wrong I donīt really care at all.
Good luck for the future because you really need it.
hmmm with the given information i doubt you are really on the eco path here. I do't know your evader pro-standing, but a few further thoughts to your set-up:
low dps -> higher defense decay
slow fap -> longer time to kill the mob -> more defensive decay
If i were you i would try the following:
1. use cheap low level armor + maybe low level plates
- it might be cheaper in total defensive cost ( especially when you are looking for high density spawns where 2 or 3 mobs at the same time may attack you ), or argos are mixed in the spawn
2. Use a better fap
-Get a herb box this should be enough for those, but maybe an SK-20(L) for combat situations when there are also medium shinkis in that spawn
3. Get an amp for your Opalo or switch to TT-Shortblade to obtain the same dps ( Greece weapons might also be an option for higher dps )
4. Do runs of at least 1 amp size. Better ~100 ped offensive cost
5. Compare defensive decay to the setup you use now
6. Tweak it to find the setup which gives you the lowest defensive decay you can get
7. Take the Spawn east of PA, it is not taxed.
8. Record your runs to find ped sinks in your setup
This could already help a bit. Good luck
TBH, if I were you, I would switch mobs. There are other mobs with similar HP/dmg, etc. Sometimes camping mobs works out, sometimes it doesn't.
When I get in a rut, I often start hunting "the green lines". What I mean by this is that I choose a mob that is well within my skill level, and I look for the green skill lines. If I'm not getting many, I change mobs, rinse and repeat until I find that mob that's giving me the skills. Often, when I do this, the loot follows, it seems.
Eco isn't just using an opalo and no armor... as others have said, eco is getting the most out of your equipment, for a better return. Personally, I think one of the most eco weapons in game atm is the korss400. Until recently, I used it almost exclusively once I reached SIB on it.
now...
OFF TOPIC!!!
While I do realize Mac is having great fun (sorry to spoil the fun) and I cannot tell if some of the posts regarding SHARED LOOT are genuine or sarcastic...
Here's the deal (for anyone who really doesn't know about Shared Loot).
Certain events, and ALL wave events, the mobs are SHARED LOOT. This means that everyone who shot at that mob will get loot based on the damage they inflicted, just like in most team hunts. The difference is, there is no need to create a team. The SHARED LOOT is automatic, and it also displays on global chat as SHARED LOOT team name. (Actually, I think it's Team "(Shared Loot)" killed.. etc etc.)
okay, back in topic!
