    The Comprehensive History of Calypso

Due to a project im working on I ended up deciding to compile all versions of calypso's history including ingame and EBN news reports into one comprehensive document of the history of entropia and our beloved planet.

I have also decided theres no reason why i cant share this with everyone else.

    So here it is:

    Enjoy

    Regards,

    Nice thing put together!

    Some things I miss though (I know you don't agree here);
Speculation about creatures before humans (Dagger of Doom/Dispair, Angel scales).

    Regarding pre-human lifeforms

    (Dagger of Doom)
The Red "D"-series of daggers is a rare occurrence on Calypso. Nobody seems to know where they originate from, and their design suggest other than human development. The name of the dagger is seen in the blade from time to time and some even claim they blade speak to them in certain circumstances. Some scientists believe the daggers are of alien origin, and that they indicate that a people other than humans inhabited Calypso sometime in the past. The Federal Empire rigorously counters any such statement as "utter nonsense" though.

    (Angel scales)
Legend claims the existence of mysterious angel-like life forms on Calypso. These tough angel scales are the only evidence of their existence and can be refined into a tough protective mail.

    Regarding mutants

    (Marber Tango-Type Plasma Annihilator)
The Plasma sniper was issued in small numbers to the crack insertion force known as the Crimson Devils. They were a rowdy bunch of ex-convicts given another chance in the Imperial Forces. They often worked in small teams on Amethera, striking against robots and other threats to the colonists during the war. Their methods were to strike with stealth - fast, hard and to disappear before the enemy got any bearing on their position. Most of the group was killed in a nuclear explosion at the Northern parts of Amethera, when a robot shuttle crashed onto their main campsite.

    (Crusader sword)
The Robots devastation against the fusion plants on Calypso caused severe radiation and rapid genetic changes to the poor people fighting in the First Robot war. Those who survived the Rad storms developed into mutants, most of which grew in strength and lost mental proficiency. With the increase in body power, an urge to fight in fierce close combat developed. The mutants, who scrounged various elite insertion teams hidden caches for equipment, found the tool of combat they desired - the swords of the Imperial Elite Close Assault Templars, also known as "The Order of the Empire". The ceremonial swords carried by the order members were also extremely effective in close combat. The mutants sharpen the swords, and use them against any aggressors - humans as well as machines.

    (Argonauts)
Legend claims the existance of an ancient underground Argonaut world. Guarded by Agrash
and Leumed, the legend speaks of great caverns of mystery and sacrifice.

I decied certian things like the Duchev logs and other similar ingame item info's dont all need to be included to it, as long as the core story is well explained.

I decied that it would kinda make sense to still leave something for people to discover ingame from the history after reading up on it all.

    Risk is, people wouln't.

First, the angel scales description has been "censored" (officially, it probably will have something to with the launch of other planets, when also descriptions of tools in trade terminal was "censored" ie company names like Omegaton taken out).

When it comes to Agrash and Leumed, it's the description of a mob that only was visible during an event (one of the mutant uprisings in Hadesheim). (It doesn't come from duchev logs.)

Maybe add some pictures to the story.

One of my favorites is the feff camp:

Beacon missions, when we used shuttles to fight robot at their satellite bases:

    Civilized mutants:

    (or maybe an umbranoid village)

Dunno about this, but the legend about a third continent north of Ithaca:

Mutants were capable of using mindforce:

One reason to put in pictures is to make it easier to read it through, and to remember things. I can't say this is a good example for a text like yours, but if you write about a robot invasion, it adds more to the words with a picture that shows a single colonist being shot down by a group of 10 warriors. For for hadesheim, a slanted picture with the text "All that remains of Hadesheim after the impact today is this crater and the buildings that now are inside it were all created recently by the robots as a new attempt to take over Calypso by launching harbingers from here."
