The history of Bismarck as a person and also the battleship is well known. As a German, one can not get around to it intensely.

Of course, the Bismarck in the time probably was the best warship together with the sistership Tierpitz. Yet the flavor of the Nazi regime is associated with this ship.

It's my opinion on the name and i know that many other don't care or even not connect the name with the regime from the war.

Bismarck is ww2 warship

yawn. people now who owned the Bismarck but few people are going to associate it with nazis. even if it was a nazi ship. the war is over, germanys forgiven, hitlers dead. etc.

its a good name for a spaceship. its not like the ship it self participated in any atrocities. its just a boat.
