Does fruit have any uses?

I know fruit can be used to make nutrio bars, useful in taming - but with taming not in game yet and nobody knows when (or if) it will be back, the nutrio bars are of extremely dubious usefulness themselves.

So my question is; are any of the fruits useful for anything else? I'm thinking that perhaps there are some obscure BPs that use fruit.

I use papplon and bombardo every time I visit Next Island.
Papplon it is an item that needed at "inventing a color" mission. From that mission you can get Miranda Violet BP. It is a repeatable mission (every 24 hours you can do it again).
Bombardo are used for crafting "power spheres" also on Next Island.
I don't know anything about other fruits so far.
