I could'nt resist the temptation to make a comment on your post.
My friend I think you use wrong weapons.
Oratan slasher's aren't so hard to use that kind of pistol on them.
You overkilling in other words you spend a lot of ammo without reason.
Try to use a small finisher.
And use another FAP for a while, try Herb box to see what you can get. Maybe tier it up to 1 or 2.
Last thing, is that Bukin a knife you use?
what for? That is only for decoration not for use

Reasonable advice. I am only using bukin's as a finisher to skill with it and also Tier it. Yes the goal would usualy be to profit during a log to make it look nice and all but I am focusing on gaining skills and completing challenges. I am just posting the results along the way. If I was posting a log with the intent of profiting along the way then yes I agree I could be using a much more eco set up.

Side note: Bukin's Is not just a decoration. As a melee weapon its eco of 2.857 dmg/pec stock is not all that horrible. Also eco wise I have the Piron and Bukin's maxed so I get the max eco out of them without using enhancers or amps.

ok, I understand what's your reason of using those,
but
idk if it worth, for someone to skill up melee weapons in this game (knife,sword e.t.c.) if you have the cost in mind.
If we take the cost out of the picture, then melee can be fun ofcourse.

Yesterday i also did smal oratan hunting log and unfortunatly after 6 runs with 100 ped ammo my log looks almost same as yours.
But i think its becouse yesterday slasher thug gave 3XX ped hof so we had to pay for it
Usualy i got profit on them and even looted unl gun. I hope next log will be better
