Chat not initializing

Since Thursday night my chat has completely stopped working out of the blue. At first I got a error message saying that "chat module failed to initialize" and no chat panel showed up at all. After reinstalling the game a couple of times and running necessary Windows updates and driver updates, it still fails to load the chat. When I attempt to start typing in the chat, the game crashes instantly. See the screenshot below of what's going on.

Have you tried deleting (or renaming/moving) your chat.log file?

It's usually in: C:/Users/<Your User Name>/Documents/Entropia Universe

That folder is empty, so that can't be it. Besides, I have tried reinstalling (deleting all files) several times. I'm beginning to suspect this is some networking issue. The chat module doesn't seem to try to initialize at all. Can my server side settings perhaps have become corrupt somehow? Or is that even possible?

If you have a router, make sure the router configuration has Ports 20,21, 30584 and 30583 forwarded to your computer. Also make sure the firmware of your router is up-to-date (please contact the manufacturer of your router for any specific questions regarding this matter)

I have already tried turning off my firewall to see if that helps, but nothing. I have never had this problem before. It started with a error message saying "chat module failed to initialize, please restart Entropia", and the next couple of logins the chat window was either gone or wasn't showing text like in the screenshot.

Okay, I guess you'll have to wait for support to respond (You did send a support case, right?)

Still no response from support. I have tried to login to Entropia on a different computer and I have the same chat problem there, so it doesn't seem to be hardware or system related. This means that they need to reset my server side settings. The problem is getting pretty frustrating as I have no access to the chat.
