    State of the Game

    Part 1:

    A: Crafting

Currently the hot profession is crafting explosive ammo. The economy is sound because the material needed does not have a markup and you can buy the ingredients at the trade terminal. The strategy involved includes the following.

A: You can craft level 1 bps that cost .02 pec per click to get your crafting skill up to par.
B: You can get the bps up to 100 quality rating and then sell them for perhaps 10 ped for level 1 bps
C: You can advance to level 3 BP in explosive ammo that is a .20 pec per click and once you achieve a QR of 100
you can set it on full condition and get globals quite often perhaps 3 or more per 3000 click and this is also a way to get the level 5 class 3 explosive ammo BP and that sells for 350+ at 0 quality rating.

So this strategy is potentially a self perpetuating type of thing and keep in mind you have 0 markup on the ingredients.

Explosive Projectiles are more kin to a slot machine than the true crafting profession. All supplies come from the TT and the crafting results go back to the TT. And, as always with slot machines, the house always wins.

What was kind of odd but funny here is that when contacting the Swedish Gambling Authority on this (btw did MA get SGA from this) they went out of their way to say that this was NOT gambling. They went on and on about how we are collecting skills which can be traded to other users and under that ruling this is not gambling.

I almost wanted to reply to them asking if MA is paying them off for this but didn't want to get ban from game

I wonder if they'd say the same thing about the strong boxes - the chance of getting a "rare" UL ring that can be sold to other players with no gain in skill.

    Hunting :

The most eco things going at this moment are to get an old school opallo or an opallo SGA some cheap pixie armor or adjusted pixie and a fap 50 or sga. This is a very eco setup and thus the overall profit perhaps rests in the evader level of the hunter and that would determine what they can or cannot hunt. Of course a 101 amp currently is around 200 ped so the 3 extra damage with that amp may not be the best payout .

There are some decent non L guns floating around that are also affordable starting at max damage at around 13 and going to about 60, by affordabale under 1000 ped.

One decent strategy is to find another planet and find out what is wanted items and then focus in on that mob on that planet on Cyrene for example there is some mob that loots meat and bones or some item like that but it seels perhaps well over 200 % and the mob is about level 10 or so.

On the medium to high end in hunting, it seems some ubers stay with the traditional Displetor on the astroid, although they have reported that some of the loots are mostly what everyone is getting , oils.

My guess here would be that these items would be called 'gifts'. But you are right here and be kind of funny if MA would fix this issue by giving us skills for opening the boxes

Mining is perhaps the best profession in the game because most of the ore and ematter has a markup.
The trick perhaps is to determine how many peds you are willing to work with and so if you have few peds going with a small finder and doing ematter is the way to go.
There are some places in the game where you can get some nice markup on ematter and ore but finding some current charts can be an issue.
If you are just starting use a 101 finder and go for ematter. Even at the higher levels in mining the markup finders dont find enough rare ore or ematter to really make it worth your while. You should bring a decent weapon with you because you will be attacked by mobs. Just find an area where there are go markup ores or ematters and camp it until you get a nice hit or so and then maybe consider going to some other planets or the asteroid of course the asteroid is certainly a gamble these days.
At the higher levels in mining the finder cost a bunch and even some of the rare ore's have lost their markup so in mining it may be best to stick with something you can mine plenty of and still get a decent markup and attempt to .reproduce that result over and over. Entropedia has some semi curtrent charts so you can scout out what ore's you wanna go after.
A 105 tier'd up with attachments is in the ball patrk of what you pay for the L finders and can acheive the same depth although it seems like at about 750-800 meters you are going to be able to get hits at 1000 so it may not be so important to get a finder that hit over those depths
