we mainly take on new comers
but we also take on who ever wants to join,
we are new and so far only have 20 members.
so far everyone is at the same rank so there is lots of room to advance
i myself sometimes have some spare ped to give to new members if they need equipment.
we are a work in progress but no the less we will work out way up to make ourselves well know.

Not interested but some suggestions:

*clarify what location soc is most (planet wise) or non specific location at all
*name the main professions that are wanted in your soc
*name main language using in soc
*name the timezone most soc members are in
*if you have any rank advancement system or none at all in mind, specifie
*tell pple if you can how active your soc is (days/hours/weekends only)
*try to envision the activities ingame and services like soc homepage, etc in the future
*where and when interested pple can meet you ingame and give your full avatar name so pple can reach you ingame

I do agree Bluntz, but with all due respect...if you start a topic or advertisement on a forum you need to *feed* pple with information. Otherwise it might be just overlooked. As far as I can see socs are made and dissolved everyday...so if you want to draw attention you need some incentive to make pple interested. And my suggestion were even just suggestions for basic information. Just a cool soc name or proclaiming you want to be *well known* won't get you anywhere.

My remarks are mere suggestions....not criticism..it comes from a long time of experience with ending up in the wrong societies...not that these were bad pple, on the contrary...most of them have become good friends,....but just because we had serious issues with meeting up inworld due to timezones ...or the targets of the soc where not exactly what I was looking for in Entropia...it worked for them...but apparently not for me, which made me unsuitable for that particular society.
