Just to confirm the core workaround works for me and I only have to turn one core off! (core 0)
Buldozer 6200 (3.8) running entropia on 5 cores. MA really do need to pick the ball up on this one though and get a proper fix. Bulldozers are really starting to flood the entry level market as they are so damn cheap... there are now literally hundreds of thousands of computers that don't run Entropia which is surely losing them money. Thanks all for the help! |

![]() For me: Run the client. Before I click launch, I open the task manager. Next I set the affinity to core 1 and uncheck core 0. I close the task manager. Next I click launch. I run in windows mode and then run task manager again. I check the core 0 and and then close task manager again. The reason I bolded the close is that if you forget to do this, you will crash every time. Once I have done this, I can run entropia as long as I like. This does take a few attempts to get running. I also have made sure all my drivers are up to date. Unfortunately, until AMD gives MA a hand in repairing this, we will have to use this workaround..

Ignore my previous post... ran a couple of times, now just doesn't work any more, no matter what core(s) I select.
I, like hundreds of other potential customers am putting my credit card back in my wallet until Mindark decide they like money again and actually fix it. |

I haven't had a chance to try it again with my laptop but I will and get back to you..
Ok, I did an update of eu on my laptop and tried it out.. I had one problem so I did a repair.. after that I restarted the computer and tried it again... so far so good. You may need to run a repair and give it a shot. Also when I went back to add more cores, it crashed so I stayed just running core one.. for me I only had 2 so it was that or nothing. lol Hopefully it works for you.. let me know..

Only thing that has worked was what Nor Alien said. Just got it working now and really hope this keeps working for me till EU fixes this problem. Thanks Nor Alien |
