Question: Disconnections in download?

I'm really confused about this problem I've been having, I've tried just about everything so I thought I'd post here for help.
I can install the downloader client but when I go to install the planets, towards the end of the download (60-80) percent, it starts to disconnect, and the file size increases with every disconnection. All of my internet-centered pages disconnect as well. I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence or if the downloads are really and truly causing the connection loss. I have plenty of room to hold the planets, internet connection, enough ram and a good graphics card to run the game (I've run it before without planets installed to make sure it ran, and it ran fine), it just seems to be the connection. I'm really hoping someone can help me with this.

players solved that by useing a proxy for the download.

the server think then you come from another location.

somehow download server seem have problem with some locations the players are at.

when you downloaded all content you can remove the proxy then again.

i would try that.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. I've never used a proxy before.

Repair any VU without Full Re-installation this thread explains how to set up proxy. It's an older thread and I'm not sure how relevant the info still is.
Never had your problem so don't know if this will help.
