Ok right now I'm on my holidays and I have really bad connection here. Anyway, I started downloading game 2 days ago and when that begining zone downloaded I launched the game and everything worked perfectly, in upper left corner it sayed that it was downloading different map and that I would have to wait for it to complete download to proceede, so I did. I decided to leave the computer over the night do download the map which btw was about 5 gig in size and my download speed is around 100kb/s so it would take me 14/15 h. Anyway, I somehow lost connection over the night (I'm not sure about that, the game might as well froze it self) and download stopped at 30% and I ctrl+alt+del out of the game. I turned off the computer for a couple of hours so it can have some "rest" (btw I have HP dv6 laptop and I have external cooling pad so it doesnt overheat). Few hours later I turned on the launcher and it started downloading the map, when it finished it downloading it, another map started downloading. Anyway when it was all done after almost whole day I turned on the game just so see "nothing". The ground was and still is dark grey and sky is dark green, there are no object around me of any kind, just pure wasteland. There are no players around me and when I type something in chat noone repys me. Now I'm asking what might be the problem, I'm sure that it is not my computer because it worked before and I also ran much more graphically demanding games on my laptop. I also ran that "repair" option and it found nothing. Any suggestion or help would be really useful, because I really don't feel erasing the whole game and downloading it all over again. -.-

Hi there and welcome to EU,
I'm guessing when you first started and logged in was before the most recent VU (on 28August). One of the things that changed with the VU was the Calypso new player area, so if you were still in that area when you logged out then, your avatar may have been 'relocated' to the new map in an unusual place - well away from the new beginner areas. You haven't said whether or not you can move around. If you can, I'd give that a go first - there may be people just over the horizon of the radar who can help you. No idea why your colors are so unusual, but do make sure your graphic card settings are set to 'let the application decide'. People have reported odd results if they try using custom 3d graphics settings. |

Ah I dont mean the ingame graphics settings, I mean the ones for your vid card (eg using NVIDIA control panel)
If you press 'P' while ingame, it should give you the coordinates of where you are at the moment. Post them here and perhaps someone will come to find you

Ammm I have ATI and I never changed my graphic card settings. And none of the commands work, when I press P nothing happens, when I press M nothing happens. The only think that happens every time I turn the game on, it offers me tutorial.
Im gessing those numbers above the minimap are also the coordiantes and they say: Lon: 37161 Lat: 19427 |

Ok, I dont know where you are .. but those coordinates are definately not on Calypso Gateway or anywhere on any planet map I can see.
I'd suggest you lodge a support case, explaining the situation, giving them the coordinates of where you are, and asking them to move your avatar to the new arrivals area. You can lodge a support case on the website of the planetpartner where you downloaded the game from (eg www.planetcalypso.com, www.planetarkadia.com etc). (If it was www.planetcalypso.com, look for 'My Account' on the top menu bar, then 'Support/FAQ' on left-side menu, then link to 'Contact Support' and 'Submit a Support Case'.) If you werent having such issues while ingame, I'd suggest using the ingame Support Centre, but in your case, using the website sounds like the safer option ![]() All the best, and let us know how you get on. SUCCESS!
I reinstalled the game but that didn't solve the problem, so I started randomly pressing buttons and I think I pressed T and it respawned me to that new beginnner zone in that clone facility or what ever. I guess I was stuck between two worlds :P Anyways thank you very much for your time to try to help me Maybe I see you in the game, I'm also called Carapa there so you can add me if you want ![]() (CASE CLOSED!) |

Excellent news.
I was going to suggest pressing T (for restreaming to the nearest revive terminal), but when you said that the other keys (including M for map etc) had no result, I didn't expect that one would have worked either. |
