Help: Trying to create account ...

Hello people,

I am sorry if such a topic has been already opened.

1) I filled the Account Application and then confirmed the e-mail message.

2) I installed the Client Loader, ... but when I try to Create Account, it opens an Internet Explorer window which gives me errors:

- Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.
We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this website.

3) When I try the "Continue to this website (not recommended)" option, nothing happens.

I mention I am on Windows 7 and Internet Explorer is NOT my default net browser. I use Mozilla Firefox.

Please, help me create the accont.

And hey: what's with that security certifficate issue??
It appeared in Firefox too, when I accessed the the main Entropia site.

Yes exactly. Got the confirmation e-mail, installed the game, but the game requests to create the account from the Client Loader.
And I cannot create the new account from inside the Entropia Universe Client Loader, simply because access seems to be blocked by Internet Explorer, as I described in the first post...

I was thinking how could I make the Client Loader to open Firefox, instead of IE?... Or, other solution?...

If you got a confirmation email from Mindark, it sounds like you've already signed up with an account via the web. If so, you don't need to create an account in the client loader. Just click the button "Launch" at the bottom of the client loader and log in with your username and password.

About the security issue, some browsers do have trouble validating Mindark's security certificate. I wouldn't necessarily ignore that error, but I would try to get a browser that recognizes it.

I am not sure on this but I signed up on the main entropia site and did what he done register and verify everything. I clicked launch and it said my information is unidentifiable I know I did nothing wrong. Might try again tomorrow since the support tab on the client showing all the planets being down.

I downloaded the client and it won't let me create an account. I can fill out my information but it doesn't respond in any way when I click the create account button at the bottom. I have an account for the forum.

hmm I have no idea what the cause is... but perhaps you could try creating the account from a different machine? Might get you past the initial problem?
