Help: Cannot Install-Directx 9 Issue

Hi All,

I am trying to install EU and I'm getting this error:

Microsoft Directx (TM) Version 9C Technology is required

'technology install not completed - and error detected, aborting setup'

I have a new computer that has Directx 11.

Why won't this work?

Any help would be appreciated.

We had quite a few players with installation issues after vu10. The collected solutions for them were posted here: Compiled help for issues or errors installing VU10.0 client

You might like to try the measures suggested in the first post, and see if that resolves your issues.

Thanks! That did the trick. Looks like I had to update some of the older versions of Directx 9 so I could install.
