Please place comunity poker tables in bars.

At the begining it could be No Limit Texas Holdem with stakes 5/10 peds. That could be lately expanded to different stakes (in different bars) and to poker tournaments like 10 player sit and go, or other poker types like omaha, crazy pinaple, 7 stud, etc.

I think playing poker would bring additional fun for gamblers like me and give additional rake earnings for MindArk and Planet Partner. (I suppose that most of Entropia players are gamblers, becouse they are playing game with loot structure that is similar to slot machine.)


If there is problems with licensing poker table under Sweden laws, I think I can help. Friend of mine owns casino network in Latvia, accordingly he owns gambling license for Latvia. I think there should be several ways how to reuse his license in Entropia, but it must be discussed with lawyears. I think one probable way could be - if you sell a bar to him (may be even couple squair meters in the bar is enough), he is allowed runing poker in the bar according Latvia laws. Another probable way - the poker application could be hosted in another data centre, lets say in Isle of Man.

If needed, I can help also with software development, becouse my husband leads little software developement team, and he is familiar with Texas Holdem rules.

This is what this game needs, I think.

unfortunately it will never happen, but hopefully MA will get brought out and the new owns will change this.

I would love to enter a poker comp, place in the money, then go blow it hunting.

This is still breaking the rules as their will be gambling in Entropia.


But, people claim you can turn this game into gambling by crafting on condition, but then they should be banned for turning it into gambling?

I think the paragraph was implemented some year ago, when there was a law coming in USA that would forbid banks to allow credit card deposits into gambling (ie poker) websites. So pretty much, that paragraph exists to allow players in countries who have explicitly prohibited gambling to deposit.

(Sure, you don't technically need to deposit to play, but imagine the number of beggars that would arise from this. "I live in USA I can't deposit pleeease give me a free gun/ammo / lend me 100 ped I got a friend who can give you money on monday".)

It has to do with swedish law prohibiting gambling establishment without permits. Now if you somehow got a swedish gambling establishment permit and talked to MA about using there platform to implement it they might do it.

Such a change would eliminate the entire US playerbase. The US government has already clamped down on other online venues offering that type of activity.
