Text based storage and inventory

I mentioned it in a thread on another site but if we could two modes on our inventories and storage where we could switch between the classic graphic one and one based on a text list, just like the auction it would

i) Reduce load times as only text is required except for double clicking where the normal item info would appear when people have lots of items in storage.

ii) Mean that when an item grows in the number of spaces it needs, this has happened many times in the past, it would not affect the text based version.

iii) Reduce the occurances where people select the wrong item, i.e. the oreamp L and UL mix ups where people tt, sell, drop the wrong one when doing bulk exchanges.

iV) Allow easier sorting and selection, i.e. alphabetically, type, quantity and tt value.

and make it a managable folder system where you can ad/create folders and name them as you like.

Great idea!

The current inventory/storage system is one of most annoying "features" of EU, IMHO.
A sortable text-version, optional, would be so much helpful!

Would be better off having items catagorised in the same way the auction is.

The reason I would like a managable folder system is this...you can create different setups for different occasions. Naming them yourself makes it easy to recognise.

Examples:

*low level mob folder:
adjusted pixie harness
adjusted pixie arm guards
etc
opalo
heal chip III

*mid level mob folder:
Nemesis harness
Nemesis arm guards
etc
CAP-202 Desert

*mining gear folder:
E-mine harness
E-mine arm guards
etc
F-104

*party outfit folder:
Stum Jeans
Next Island shirt
Omegaton Desert Walkers
Rancher hat
Gullardir Shades
Tomtebloss Deluxe

The idea is that when you click the folder it will equip all contents and unequip your previous outfit. The folder doesnt have to contain the actual piece but only a shortcut to the existing piece. This way its easy to make different setups. I'm afraid such a system isnt possible, but one can always dream
