I have to pay to put a helmet on, and then pay again to re-put on my hat. Simple solution is "I wont wear my hat any more".
Most of my coat is covered by armour, and can't be seen. In order for it to be visible, I have to take at least 2 armour pieces off. As it will cost me to put them back on, I wont take the harness/arms off. As my coat is now mostly invisible, i just won't wear it.

My jumper/pants/boots are hidden by my armour. I might as well not wear them either, as it will cost me to put my armour back on.

The introduction of a "getting dressed" tax has rendered all my clothing obsolete.

I have to disagree here MA. All you have achieved is to devalue a major part of the community's assets by rendering what was already a non essential part of the universe expensive to use.

I pay to use ammo/mine/be healed etc, and get a tangible thing back (killed & looted mobs/resources/Health). Looking good in clothing brings me no loot.
True, but it isn't a non-essential part of the game to tailors or colourers.
