Another thing that bugs me is that to many people are way to eager quoting forum rules every chance they get, must make them feel important in some way I guess. Let people be , everyone has their job and if a rule is broken let an admin decide if its worth shooting the poster with forum rules.

Due to the moderators doing
volunteer work, I see no problem with self-policing. It makes their (moderators) job much easier to handle.
