Defend your Claim

A new event series on CND. MINING here is chance for all you miners out there to prove yourself. You've seen Champions League, Global Madness, Pink Saturday. All those events are a hunters playground. Now it's time for all you miners out there to get your glory. Defend your Claim will be a 10 round event series with a total prizepool of over 6500 ped!

All events will take place on CND every Friday at 21.00 MA and the normal duration is 1 hour. During the event there will be live commentary on CND's Livestream and great music.
There are three different event types : Highest Single Claim, Most Claims and Highest Total Claim.
Ticket cost will be 25ped, these can be bought from me and Freyr or you can register directly at the terminals in the fertilizerroom (all tickets have to be registered in the fertilizerroom at the apropriate terminal)

After each event top8 miners will receive points for the league scoring. Since there is no option to turn off the hunting part in the events there will be a small prize for the one getting the highest single hunting loot in each event. (Every event will be set to highest single loot for hunting).


Rules

Because MA hasn't implemented a way to see mining points in an event this will have to be a screenshot event. The following screenshot rules apply : All screenshots must have a timestamp (C) and your claimdeed must be open with claim size visable. All screenshots must be posted within 48 hours after the event has ended

Highest Single Claim (HSC) : The miner with the highest single claim wins this event. Quite an easy event for everyone to follow, whoever gets the highest claim (global or maybe hof) wins.
Points for the league scoring will be given out according to Claimsize (everyone has to post for points, event winners too)
Should there be a tie in a claimsize below global value then both miners get equal points, above global value the amount of peds decides your place in the ranks

Most Claims (MC) : The miner with most number of claims wins this event.
Exactly as it sounds in this event type every claim counts no matter of size.
If there is a tie here then the miner with the highest total value of claim sizes wins the event, this works for remaining places in top8 in same way

Highest Total Claim (HTC) : The miner with the highest total claimsize wins this event. This means that after all screenshots are in all the claimsizes of each miner are added up and the miner with the highest total claimsize value wins the event.
If we have a tie here the miner with the least amount of claims wins.

Due to the fact that this will mostly be a screenshot event series all event prizes will be handed out before the start of the next event. We hope you understand that there will be a lot of screenshots and some calculations before events winners can be decided and league points can be given. But we really want veryone to have good time and a fun series. Since it seems MA is in no rush to change the event system this for now is unfortunately the only way.
