The "3rd Annual JSA Xmas Giveaway" event is over ... two weekends of Xmas spirit and fun and I'm in much need of a Holiday rest myself. If you haven't been involved in producing events such as these, there's a lot of work to pulling it off, but it's all worth it. We made 40 new players happy, and 4 new players VERY happy with their race prize package.
The setup was the same ... although this weekend, we enjoyed the company of
MA Guide "Emma" during our activities, instead of "Simon" who was with us last weekend. As you will see in my video, she was enjoying herself as much as the rest of us were. The JSA crew onboard this weekend were Jetboy (my brother) - who gave away the male armor, Zar (rwin at
EF) - who scanned and gave away the FAP, D-1, and 1k med cell ammo, Sir Odd Bunny - who gave away the clothes that he tailored, colored, and did special stuff to (shirt/pants/shoes), and myself of course - who gave away the female armor. Moonie is on vacation, and JackFree, Mac, Liz, and BlackReign had RL commitments, but we missed them and know they were with us in spirit.
Everything went rather smoothly ... and after the giveaway, we created two teams and ran a lot of new players to both Billy's and Camp Phoenix so they were able to participate in the running race for the big prize package being given to one male and one female. The only glitch we ran into was a few non-qualified runners who would not stay out of the race, and made it quite confusing at the finish line in determining who the male winner was. Therefore, in all fairness, we ran the males over by themselves, because we had a clear female winner. Winners are mentioned in the video.
I want to thank ... first and foremost my socmates who dedicated time and major effort in helping to produce this year's Xmas giveaway. This is our third, and each year it gets better. I also want to thank our JSA friends who donated their time to support our efforts ... TOAST (supplied fireworks, champagne, and a few items for the running race prizes last weekend), Slapnuts (I'm sure a magnum of champagne, not to mention his always crazy antics that keep everyone laughing), and Wild "RR" Bill, Chimp, and Leona "Cat" for assisting during the TP runs in Part 2 ... your participation in this event was greatly appreciated. And last but not least, a thank you to
MA Guide "Emma" who accompanied us as well on our run to Billy's and Phoenix in case we ran into any problems ... but we didn't, and then Ms. Emma went back to PA to help the newcomers.
I'm still playing with my new video software ... and I learn something new with each video. I'm practicing now, because after the first of the year, I'm going to start collecting footage for the first "
EU Mob Idol Auditions" ... and I'm going to make it as hilarious as I can. For now ...
ENJOY!!
