Exactly how it happened the person changing the batteries was me… (ok I admit it)
See my car broke down and is currently at the shop some electrical problem draining the battery and causing the car to die every day, and with my bad leg can not walk the 10 blocks to the nearest store so I tried putting in these slightly thinker batteries that I had at the house, and the backing came right off.
Oh first I did try the usual bag the reader but it was completely dead, even when you pressed the two buttons you would get some type of reading but that was dead too.
