To tell you the truth, there's already Babylonian babble in
EU.
Once, I was chatting with a French friend (in French) while a society was using Tcheck and a couple of strangers were discussing in German. And then there was this Portuguese guy who started asking for someone. Hours afterward, a guy I know from Entropia Latina passed by to say "¡Hola! ¿Cómo te va?"
I mean, you can't help but become a polyglot here!
HOWEVER, a common language
is essential.
Entropians are already divided as it is
(time and geographical differences, opinions, age, experience, etc).
Language specific clients could be more comfortable for lazy players.
But, it wouldn't give the right impression to outsiders.
Whether
MA restricts or not their clients to a single language, it won't really matter. People from all over the world will keep coming. And you can bet whatever you want that many of them won't know how to properly write / speak English. And they will certainly use other languages to communicate if it suits them or their interlocutors.
I, for one, speak French if I'm chatting with people from France, Belgium of Quebec. Or Spanish, if it's people from Latin America or Spain. Most of the time, the conversation becomes tiring and even unintelligible if done otherwise!
But, when it comes to important / official / multinational affairs...
English becomes my diplomatic tongue, obviously!
