There used to be one on Amethera (maybe 18-24 months or more ago?), which was kinda fun except was a bit buggy.
Merps would stack up 12 high on your head and completely surround you so you couldn't move.
It was popular for a few days of opening when everybody was hoping for nice toys to drop but people soon grew tired of it. Especially because of the excessive decay due to the fact that it was so bugged and it lagged like hell sometimes when fapping/shooting/looting.
Back then you couldn't hit the mob behind the dead carcass til you looted it so you would still take hits but couldn't kill the ones directly behind the lagged out dead one, if I remember correctly.
Other times lag took over and you would be shooting at 1/3 normal rate but still taking hits at full speed, and when you have 9 hitting you at once it soon adds up.
Hopefully things have changed nowadays.
