If
MA had responded immediately when you sent support case it was probably too late. How long does it take to offload your inventory to another avatar? A matter of minutes unless you have things stored in an apartment or two as well. Strike that the deed is all that has to be transferred and all items in the apartment go with it. Just a matter of minutes to transfer all those things. It would take a bit longer to strip skills, but if the hacker was prepared, had all items needed it would not take long at all to strip the skills.
You would need to know within a few minutes that you were compromised, log onto the support page, type the support case explaining what was going on, submit it and still enough time would pass from your end that if
MA acted immediately and locked the account most of your items would have been gone.
You stated you asked for password change, not a lock. Did you do it from a different computer than the one that was infected with the trojan?
Not trying to rub salt in the wound, I feel for you, but I can not see ANY blame on the part of
MA for this.
