It has nothing to do with paying or not, tpb is doing almost exactly the same thing as google does, ie it provides links. But do they try to shut down google etc? nope they dont cause they know they cant. But if tbp is actually found guilty i know i'm the first person to go to the police and file google as helpign to find copyrighted material.
Just 2 days ago denmark decided to block tpb and thus they are just as good as china and burma. So this has a LOT more to do with other things than paying or not paying for stuff, but as you (atleast you seem to) and many others dont understand the underlying reasons for this and most often miss the point totally.

trouble with this rubbish is it doesnt address the underlying concerns with copyright, the anomolies of revenues to corporations owning/licensing content verses those that actually go to artists and producers of work.
the way to win is to stop buying or indeed pirating copyright material from those that seek to maintain the status quo, and purchase material from those that seek to adopt the new models the internet offer. Supporting piracy doesnt move the debate on.

As i said above, if they do this then that's exactly what google does aswell in that case. And yes exactly, it doesnt adress the underlying stuff and i totally agree with you, i myself is not buying shit from companies that are going against the future, ie sony, blizzard etc.. unless their product is EXCEPTIONALLY good, ie sc 2 ;P If i however find a good movie i either stop watch it and then go see it in the theaters or i buy the series or whatever. In other words the industry has to stop producing crap, cause it's a buyers world now and not a producers world so to speak.
