Depends on what you are going to hunt, what weapon you are using and what you friends have/use.
No point in having a good L armor when you team hunt hogglos whit a H400, then a Ghost whit 5B will do the job, and a cheaper on in the end too. Becouse is dosent matter if you take a hit on 30dmg, 2 times when you team hunt, you can live happy. So a good L armor can be to much if you only team hunt the bigger mob.
Hope any get the point Im trying to make
If you dont have a gun that deals hig dmg/sec and some skill for it you dont need a good L armor.
If you dont have a gun that deals high dmg/sec and skills for it, you dont realy need a good L armor
