Rules

1. The competition runs from 2008-03-01 00:01 until 2008-03-31 23:59 (EU time).

2. Points are scored by posting globals and HoFs in this thread. Each global scores 1 point, and each HoF/ATH scores 2 points.

3. If the same player scores at least one global/HoF on both a Neconu and a Formicacida on the same date (according to the EU date as shown in the screenshot - NOT the date of posting), all of that player’s points scored on that date will be doubled.

4. Screenshots must be posted within 48 hours of the global, and within 24 hours after the event ends. No screenshots posted after 1 April 2008 will be accepted.

5. To be valid, all screenshots must clearly show the location, timestamp and the global text/value in the chat window. The date and time shown must be within the timeframe given in Rule 1.

6. Globals must be scored within the boundaries of Outback Areas 1 or 21 and must be on creatures native to the lands (i.e. Neconu, Formicacida and Equus).

7. Team globals may be entered by one member of the team. The team bar with team name must be clearly visible in the screenshot. Points will be awarded to the team member who posts the screenshot. We take no responsibility for any dispute between team members.

8. The judge of this competition is Oleg Oleg McMullery. In the event of any dispute, Oleg’s decision is final.

9. We reserve the right to disallow any entries in the case of suspected PhotoShopping or other foul play.

Prizes

There are five prizes in this competition, totalling 3000 PED.

First Prize

The first prize of 1000 PED will be awarded to the player who scores the highest total number of points over the duration of the event.

Second Prizes

Two second prizes of 500 PED will be awarded: one to the player who scores the most points on Neconu, and one to the player who scores the most points on Formicacida. The winner of the 1000 PED first prize is not eligible for the second prizes.

Bonus Neconu Prize

One Neconu global/HoF will be chosen at random to win a bonus prize of 500 PED.

After the end of the event, we will compile a list of all Neconu entries. For the purposes of this list, each point scored will be considered to be one entry (i.e. a HoF will be included in the list twice, a HoF on a date with double scores will be included in the list four times). The winners of the first and second prizes are ineligible for the bonus prizes and their entries will be removed from the list.

All remaining entries on the list will be numbered, and the winning entry will be chosen by a modulo function (see below).

Bonus Formicacida Prize

One Formicacida global/HoF will be chosen at random to win a bonus prize of 500 PED. This prize will be awarded on the same basis as the Bonus Neconu Prize.

Modulo Function

The modulo function for the bonus prizes will be based on the total number of entries in the list, and the number chosen in the UK National Lottery Dream Number draw held on Saturday 5 April 2008, as reported at Home | The National Lottery

For a full explanation of the modulo function, please see Modulo operation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If you have any questions or require clarification on any of the rules, please post in this thread.

Good luck!
