I was at the noob event with JD (we just decided to turn up and watch). JD is in the background of one of the images sitting down.
Free stuff, i've given away pixie before, myself and Amar helped set up a noob with almost a full set of pixie at one point. I was planning on giving some pixie harnesses away but I must have tt'd them a while back as I only had a couple of pixie faces left.
One thing I noted was that a few noobs attending weren't exactly new, some had been around for atleast 5 months but had such low skills they were allowed to compete.
