I think it only appeared today. It is dated the 26th because that is when Pinky started writing the article. There's a private newsroom where reporters write the articles. When they are finished they get moved on to the front-page, retaining the date they were originally posted in the newsroom.
So although it looks like it appeared on the front page a while ago, it wasn't, it was just being edited or waiting to be moved from the newsroom to the front page.
