OF105 find gold 1x in 1000 bombs
Gold is found at around 700m, so both finders can reach that depth with ease.
So forget about depth entirely, it is about finders. Depth is just a smokescreen. More expensive finders have higher probability finding rare ores then cheaper ones. End of story.
I found Ruga, Xere, Langotz, Gold... with TK220 on depths easily reachable with other finders but other finders always failed to find those ores (except occassional gold find) so I know what I'm talking about.
Same goes for Zanderium. If you mine for it using OF105 or even OF212L you will have very hard time finding any.

But GL to all of U trying to find zand and other very rare ores with the of105 because it gets claims over 700 depth
