Im not an economic, but it sounds reasonable right.

If its 60,000 ped TT value then no it doesnt increase inflation of PED because MA backs the TT value of all items. It is them putting their own $6k USD into the game (or redistributing it or however they decide to come up with it within the game)

If it had no TT value and was just items "worth" 60kped then theoretically it could actually deflate prices unless it took away from items that would have been looted.

Value being the word in question. I can't forsee any way that this would cause inflation other than by them giving away prizes, the winners have more expendable money to spend on certain items maybe raising a couple rare items up a little.

Example:

Some1 wins 60k ped (though I know its not 1 prize anyway). Winner decides to buy a Adj Fap. This adds 1 more buyer to those interested in said item and may raise the value of it.

Realistically...virtually no inflation added to EU. I took your statement to be an inflation of the PED though. Am I correct?

Sounds Awesome, Wish I could make it. Who's interested in starting one of these in the Midwest USA?
