Lately we started a project of training new members for our society. So me and Jason are getting disciples and spending some time in newbie areas, like sweat camp or landing area. I was not aware of the problem before, but ammount of newbies who had been farmed by "so called mentors" is horrible. We managed to help few of them, but for some it was to late. Still we are helping those "orphans", basically doing the job that is duty of their "farmers". The sad thing is that many players, who have been "farmed" will never meet us or someone similar and they probably will quit playing... I would like to say something to MA: please, make the grace period for newbies a bit longer (so disciples have the time to change the mentor), please send someone to Swamp Camp (a guide maybe) to take care of newbies there too. Guides are a big help, there were no guides back then when I started. But saying "press enter to write and enter again to say it" or something like that is not enough.
Pinky, in my opinion your mentor should be just banned. Such people make EU much worse than it could be. I was spending lots of time with my disciples, showing them everything, from keyboard map and assigning actions to it, through mining and hunting lessons to explaining ingame economy. Not mentioning things like TP runs. So when I hear about another "disciple farmer" my hand reaches itself for my beautifull Mad IV and I start to hope for meeting them in one of PVP zones...
