Unless you want to die instantly by your own hand you'll have to take risks.
The normal things you do with a high risk are commonly accepted - like crashing a car (or be driven over by one), industrial food, smoking, alcohol, medication, environmental pollution, peak oil, airplane traveling, getting stung by a moskito while in holiday some thousand KM away from home or murdered by the jelous husband, entering a hospital (both as guest or patient), loosing while playing the lottery, backdoors in windows etc.
For this stuff we're freely willing to eg.
pay the price of mobility.
But there are some worth a newspaper headline and they
all have only a very slim to nil chance of hitting you - like terrorism (with or without airplanes), winning a lottery... or chinese equipment with spyware included.
So please get real.
