Good for posting that, i completely agree that if a disciple wants to leave the mentor should do so immediately. Hes only hurting himself and his own reputation, i have a few disciples. And what makes a good mentor isnt somone who sits there and lets you figure out things on your own, first thing i believe a mentor should do is teach the basic knowledge of the game, how to mount buttons, how to hunt, about the markups, TT's, auction. Every basic thing the disciple must know, then share your experiances and tips that may help them. Bond with them too, dont just shove em off. Sadly alot of people mentor for the gift, but the funny thing is the gift isnt usually worth anything most of the time. You should mentor because you wanna help people out.
