Is it? And what about hours spent on learning controls, how the game works, tp runs, hunting and mining lessons? What about getting them out from dangerous places when they stuck somewhere? What about organising events for them, so they have some fun in their newbie lifes? What about buying sweat from them above market prices to help them a bit? Your statement is a bit unfair...
Pinky, you should count this beacon with markup in. It's not that rare these days that ppl even before graduation receive their "graduation gift" from
EU. Last examples: my soc mate's disciple received 400 ped Growth Molecules (yes, shitty %, but 400 ped for a newbie (and not only a newbie) is lots of cash), my last disciple received 700 ped from allo... It happens. It's not thing related only to luck, it seems to be rather
MA marketing strategy. It's easier to get a hof being a newbie than medium level player these days.
Life of a newbie is not that bad. You are not concerned about how to upgrade your armor and weapon to give u enough firepower, as low level armors are cheap, there is lots of cheap low level weapons. Whatever u choose, plasma, blp or laser, you always can find a cheap L toy to skill with, by spending only tens of ped on it. Plus, the word is new, interesting and full of live. Later on it becomes a bit grey...
