That will probably cease to be an issue after CE2 when you won't even be able to run
EU unless you have a healthy amount of RAM and VRAM. I don't get that paging freezing at all now on a new system with a dedicated partition for
EU. Defragmenting your HDD will help.
I've thought that the buyout option should go away on auction to make shops really viable, but that would definitely upset a lot of resellers and some actual customers, as well.
