Does it help at all? I could really need a little boost on my laptop. I run Intel 1.83Ghz on 2Gb RAM with help from a GForce 7600 card.
Sorry - for offtopic. Could maybe discuss in assigned forum?

I mean that i created a partition of the hard drive just for
EU, which keeps all of the files in the same general area of the HDD to minimize the time when loading and swapping (close all other programs, ofc). Making your swap file in the same partition is probably a good idea.
You can probably split your existing partition with some utility and you could probably get the same advantage by running a decent defragmenter that gives you more control over things than the default windows one.
I imagine in your case the problem is exacerbated by the low RAM on the video card, though. I'm not sure how good of result you can expect with the slower HDD and low VRAM on a typical laptop. My new system has 4 GB RAM (~3 accessible) and 512 MB VRAM.
But a defrag of the hard drive will often have a huge impact due to the way everything gets split up during VUs and such.
