This weekend I made the acquaintance of a new player. After I bought his sweat at higher than market price and giving him some free armor he asked about the best way to make money. I told him sweating was the best way to make money in-game at his level. Of course he didn't believe me and IM'd me a few hours later complaining that he had bought a gun and ammo and now had nothing to show for it. Again I told him that if his goal was to make money then he needed to continue sweating. If he wanted to 'play' the game then he needed to make a deposit and then he would find some 'enjoyment' in the game.
He then began to whine about the riches that were promised in the advertisements and how he was going to sue
MA for false advertising.
I have no idea what advertisements
MA is using (having never seen one here in the States) but somehow these noobs have gotten the idea they are going to get free/easy money in-game. They have no idea of the thousands of hours and $$'s invested by so many of the players to even reach mid-level status.
Let the market determine the price of sweat, it is the best way. And noobs, we love you but you have to have some patience and don't think that you should have lot's of ped after just a few weeks of sweating. If you don't like to sweat then deposit and join the real world.
Look at the game as a long term endeavor/challenge, not as short-term money maker.
