Finally, the mystery of the Unique Green Atrox Queen Egg is about to be solved. The avatar
kloof Joie Parl of the
Leary Rattoons society looted a Unique Atrox Egg Incubator yesterday. The item formed part of a 1342 PED HoF from an Argonaut Leader under the Hadesheim Orb.
I had the opportunity to speak to Joie about his amazing find; "I'm still shaking!" he told me, "This thing has to be worth the same as the egg and that sold for $10,000!". Joie went on to tell me he has not yet contacted NeverDie to see if he wishes to purchase the Incubator; "I want to take offers on it - I want to see how much I can get for it before handing it over to
ND".
The Incubator has a TT value of 12 PED, and much to Joie's annoyance will not go in the auction. "I will make an auction thread once your article is up, get all the people interested first!" he explained, "I will be withdrawing any money I get - I need a new car!" I don't doubt this item will raise enough for that!
One thing is for sure, everyone is going to want to be there when the Egg and the Incubator meet. What will come out of the Egg? Will it be DNA, or the future of taming like NeverDie hopes? With an impending VU due any day
now, anything at this point seems possible.
The Egg was originally looted by
Mc'Lap Tzest0s Alexan'ru and sold soon after to NeverDie for the sum of 100,000 PEDs, making international news. However, after that nothing has happened for almost a year and a half, creating the running joke "Ahhh... The Egg" quoting Marco in a live chat session when asked what
MA plans to do with the story line.
Very soon we will know the answer to Entropia Universe's favourite question, but will it be worth the price of the Egg and the Incubator combined? Here's hoping it contains more than an Atrox Omlette!
